So, too, for some in the Canadian medical community, the depths of MAiD’s abhorrent moral abyss must be plumbed ever further. As CatholicVote reports, “The Quebec College of Physicians recently told the Daily Mail that it still regards euthanasia as an ‘appropriate treatment’ for infants with disabilities and severe medical syndromes.” So much for the patient’s “informed consent,” which will instead be delegated to parents and, quite probably, doctors. Like the vile Nazi doctors who exterminated the disabled, the Canadian proponents assert their altruistic aims for engaging in this heinous practice. But the habits of the heart know better. There are no good intentions in paving MAiD’s road to Hell.

Canada's death cult

I can’t say much about this, as I myself don’t want to linger in pain, and I believe my choice should be between me and God. That said, I believe countries like Canada and the Netherlands are using these programs to rid themselves of inconvenient population. And that’s wrong.
ReplyDeleteI've even read of people being euthanized over their own objections (I believe in the Netherlands). The potential for abuse is high, it seems.
DeleteI don't believe in euthanasia, although, as I've pointed out before, if I found myself in a terminal situation with great pain, I might not mind walking into a seedy, cartel-owned bar in Ciudad Juarez and commence to throw down on some likely bad guys. Going out with a bang seems a good way.
My plan was to drive around and run folks off the road for sitting in the left lane.
DeleteI like your plan better, I might use that.
Both are societal goods.
Belgium is one of the worst.
ReplyDeleteI blogged about them offing people for depression.
Deeespicable.
