If the coach did not fly into a rage in the locker room, he should be fired.
ReplyDeleteYep. To put it mildly, you can't blame that on a bad call.
DeleteI'm pretty sure that's a scene from the Bad News Bears.
ReplyDeleteHaw!
DeleteI love that the announcer called it a Little League Home Run.
ReplyDeleteThere was something akin to that at Optus Oval last night. Fremantle Dockers V Sydney Swans: at half time the Swans were 4 goals, 9 behinds for a total of 33 points. The Dockers, apparently under a hex, matched that with a total of 11 behinds. They couldn't kick a goal to save themselves.
ReplyDeleteTo the surprise of all - including themselves, I dare say - the Dockers made a massive comeback in the last quarter and put on nine goals to win the game.
Sounds exciting!
DeleteWhat is it?
Aussie rules football maybe?
DeleteI used to get that on a cable channel in NoVa about 20 years ago. I forget the scoring, how much between the posts and how much to the sides.
I loved it.
It was just like what you'd expect of Aussie rules anything. It was like a combo of soccer, rugby, and kill the carrier.
