The Happy Index
Common Cents cites data that tend to confirm what I've always believed: conservatives are happier than liberals.
Liberals think everything needs improving, but don't trust other people to know how to do it. Conservatives sometimes think things are just fine as they are, but if things do need improving, they'll find a way. I think that sort of explains the difference.
Today's "liberals", or should I say "progressives", have got to be the most miserable people in the developed world (for sure, people in developing nations know exactly what they face and don't have to sit around imagining the boogeyman.)
