Apology accepted.

Ah, is this the updated version of the image on the Virginia flag?

Apparently, Blumenthal apologized, at least in part by e-mail.
ReplyDeleteColor me unimpressed. Classy Blumenthal ain't.
Let him stand before the Vietnam War Memorial and apologize to them! Any other apology is just so much fluff.
ReplyDeleteBlumenthal
ReplyDeleteJust as with this word neaderthal.
Does one pronouce it Thal or Tall?
OH and neanderthal TOO.
ReplyDeleteJP,
ReplyDeleteI believe the "-thal" suffix comes from the German for "valley."
And the Germans pronounce it "Tall".
ReplyDeleteBtw, the "th" sound doesn't exist in almost any other language on earth, except English, and Spanish as it's spoken in Spain. Just FYI.
