Richard Blumenthal apologizes for lying about Vietnam War service.
As always, we like to take the high road here at Paco Enterprises.
Apology accepted.

Ah, is this the updated version of the image on the Virginia flag?
Sic Semper Tyrannis
Apparently, Blumenthal apologized, at least in part by e-mail.
Color me unimpressed. Classy Blumenthal ain't.
Let him stand before the Vietnam War Memorial and apologize to them! Any other apology is just so much fluff.
Blumenthal
Just as with this word neaderthal.
Does one pronouce it Thal or Tall?
OH and neanderthal TOO.
JP,
I believe the "-thal" suffix comes from the German for "valley."
And the Germans pronounce it "Tall".
Btw, the "th" sound doesn't exist in almost any other language on earth, except English, and Spanish as it's spoken in Spain. Just FYI.

Rebecca,
And Greek.
Thanks for pointing that out, Michael. I was not aware, having very little contact with Greek.
