The envelope, please...

Doug Ross has posted his "2011 Fabulous 50 Blog Award Winners", and I was surprised and gratified that my George Washington bit won "Post of the Year". Many thanks, Doug!

    It has always been my contention that you have a great many lurkers here that simply do not post on a regular basis. This just proves the point. Maybe you should employ one of those Amazon thngies.:)

    Jazza called Gillard the "Drawling Bogan", I like that:) They have a much more polite word for a**hole or bleephead than we do.

    Yojimbo is right about lurkers ... Mrs Skeeter and I are two of many.
    But that tendency to lurk is not going to stop us from wishing you and Mrs Paco a Happy New Year; and to thank you for the years of pleasure that you have given us with your wise words.
    We are now about 11 hours into 2012. Our TV just told us it will be showing New York's midnight fireworks live in about four hours. As we watch it, we will be thinking of you and Mrs Paco; and all our old friends in your timezone.
