Happy New Year!

2016 was a year of close calls. Here's hoping for clear sailing in 2017, as the Clinton machine gets towed to the scrap yard and Donald Trump begins the work of tearing down Barry's elaborate tinker-toy Leviathan. Good health and prosperity to Paco Nation, and thanks to all my readers and commenters for keeping the place lively.

And a Happy New Year to you, Mr. Paco, and all the rest of the Pacoids.

In 2017 I shall remain a constant reader and very occasional commenter.

And, yes, HRC will never be president.

Isn't it nice to look forward to the new year with at least a glimmer of hope the future will be great again?

Happy New Year everybody!!

Zardoz: If the only good thing to happen in 2017 is HRC won't be president, it will be a good year.

Looking forward to 2017 and the constant pop-pop-pop of lefty heads exploding.
And may I say belated congratulations to all the Americans who learnt enough from the 'It's time for a black president' experience to steer clear of the "It's time for a woman president' experience.
When I stop to think about it - and I try not to - I can only see Killary and Mutti Merkel in a horrific contest for the title of Greatest Elected Danger To World Peace and General Sanity. In a very short time HRC, like Gillard to Rudd, would have made Obama look good.

Happy New Year, all!

All the best for 2017 to Paco, family and shareholders, from Canberra, with a pleasant 27C early on Monday arvo.
This year looks like it might break all attention-getting records for political junkies.

Thanks for hosting the venue, Paco. Very best to you and yours.

Sailor Man, that's 80 degrees to Merakin Brothers and Sisters.

Canberra? Hey I'm up near Katoomba and it was nearly 100 degrees F for a few days (35-40) just like I remember when I was a kid in the 50s and 60s. Bush Christmas with no bushfires, that's a change.
