Moye has also shared some harsh words toward Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas for acting as a traitor his own African-American heritage for his critiques of the civil rights movement under President Ronald Reagan.Politicized, activist judges are truly the bane of our republic.
“I think there is a profound sense of despair,” Moye told the Washington Post in 2007. “In order to have disappointment you have to have high expectations. I think there were those who hoped he was going to blossom and develop. But I don’t think you know many African Americans, other than those who know him personally, who think he turned out all right.”
Update and related Elections do, indeed, have consequences.
I'd love to hear Larry Elder's take on this puffed-up pontificator.
ReplyDeleteIn a just world Clarence Thomas would be revered, respected and inspirational to more than about half of the voters.
ReplyDeleteToo bad we're in this one.
But I don’t think you know many African Americans, other than those who know him personally, who think he turned out all right.”
ReplyDeleteSo only people who have met Justice Thomas personally think he's all right, and the others who have never met him don't. Because they listen to an envious little demagogue like Moye, I suppose?
