The Rooftop Koreans

An article from last year by Kurt Schlichter reveals the importance of communities taking responsibility for their own security.

And, from Sam Jacobs, here's more detailed background information on the events that eventually led to Koreans banding together to protect their lives and property during one of L.A.'s periodic riots.

I remember the Rooftop Koreans, and thought they were entirely right. I also remember the scowling disapproval of the media types who reported on them.

Schlichter has it correct that if small numbers of people decide to "misbehave", the majority of the citizens don't have a way to stop them ... unless we all become Rooftop Koreans. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any in places like Portland and Minneapolis or wherever there is a Democratic city government.
