Working-with-your-hands-Wednesday

Here's a unique rifle build (from Merrie England, of all places!): "Belt-Fed Bullpup Lever-Action Rifle Chambered in .44 Magnum". There's a video embedded in the article (H/T: friend and commenter JeffS).

Bonus video! Here's another working-with-your-hands-Wednesday rifle build - although I think the guy who did it used his feet. While wearing shoes. Sitting in the dark.

I don't think I did that bad on the old AK. So I hadda use an old tie rod off my dad's Dodge pickup? And what's a 'dremel'? A hatchet works good.

It gets even better... check Brandon Herrera's channel The AK Guy. He reacts to Ian's video.

Looks remarkably like a rifle I purchased from a brochure issued by an outfit that went by the name of: Pistol And Carbine Ordnance;
"Picture is representative only & may not be an exact depiction of the item you purchase"

A bit of engineering on the bullpup trigger assembly, excellent. I know that people LOVE their AK's, I just can't see it myself but that's what's great about the gun world. Everyone gets whatever floats their boat. There are enough people competing for the kinds of guns I like.

Jonah, I reckon you could knock somebody on the head with it.

Serious question: when you were a trucker, did you carry a truck gun? I have a cousin who was a long haul trucker for a while, and I know he carried an old Colt revolver of some kind.

Steve at the Pub: We're sorry you were disappointed in the firearm you recently purchased from Pistol and Carbine Ordnance. We'd like to make it up to you by offering you, gratis, this slightly used Model 1911 Colt (or possibly a Browning Hi-Power) in, um, Very Good condition.

That gun is for the guy that rescued the pipe wrench.

Yeah, he could probably fix it up!

No I didn't, I'm embarrassed to say, I was usually pretty comfortable about where I would spend my nights. Except for a few times in Oakland/Richmond, but nothing ever happened.

Kind of a funny story from 30 years ago, an Oakland hooker wouldn't leave a guy alone, so he pulled out his truck gun, a sawed off double barrel with a scope duct taped to the top of it.
She walked off, "You crazy!"

That is hilarious. A sawed off double barrel with a scope duct taped to the top of it. HAW!
