May God give her strength. And I hope she wears her extra-thick skin to the hearings. Some Democrats are already secretly warning about overreach and the perils of being overtly nasty; however, no doubt some on the committee will probably ignore the memo, and/or they'll all find other, perhaps more subtle, ways to attack her. I pray for her, and for the success of her nomination.

Barrett isn't the only one who's going to need a thick skin, because the scum are going to go after her family as well. The children of Republican public figures are no longer out-of-bounds.

Subtle according to their own way of thinking - like not literally referring to her as Miss Torquemada or a modern-day Eva Braun.
And not all Dems are total morons, however wicked their world view. Some of them recollect that the savagery directed at Kavanaugh backfired. Of course, I wouldn't really be surprised if they all do wind up throwing caution to the wind. TDS acts on the mind and the nervous system very much like rabies.
If a Democrat attempts to be "subtle" in his/her/xer's criticism of a Republican, his/her/xer's lunatic base (Twitter, Facebook, Reddit) will accuse him/her/xer of treasonous caving to the nazis.
They'll attack her adopted kids who were likely saved from the Clinton's by Justice Barrett and her husband. I'm not so sure that they want to shine a light on adopted/missing children problem in Haiti. Just sayin'. The people of Haiti have been begging for a microphone to expose the Clinton's rip off of 98% of the aid sent after the earthquake. Oh, and Kenye West showed up in Haiti yesterday. I think he has some big events planned.
