We lost two baseball greats over the last week: Tom Seaver and Lou Brock.
RIP, Lou Brock. I was 11 yo in 1964, and the arrival of Lou, and their World Series win that year made me a Cardinals fan.RIP, Tom Seaver. Being a Cardinals fan, he was one of those pitchers that you both despised, and respected.
Brock was the guy I was most worried about in the '68 series (well, actually, he was the guy I was second most worried about, after Bob Gibson).
