Sir Thomas Beecham conducts the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance of Rimsky-Korsakov's Le Coq D'Or Suite, derived from the composer's last opera. It is a Rimsky-Korsakov composition at its most lush and exotic.

Every recording of 'Tommy' Beecham is a gem.
