Unfortunately, this is the state of play in contemporary American politics, as far as many leftists are concerned:
I have no intention of obliging them.
"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Whatever happens with the election, always remember that these are the people Never-Trump "Republicans" ally themselves with. These are the people Bill Kristol and Max Boot and George Conway and Rick Wilson have chosen to stand with. Because of their sacred "principles" and "civility."
ReplyDeleteAlso remember that Trump is only a placeholder. He's a stand-in. They can't name all of us individually, so Trump serves as easy shorthand for you and me.
If Donald Trump recovers from his bout with the coronavirus (which he is apparently doing, according to his doctors), I expect a lot of America's enemies (especially the domestic ones) to spend a lot of time in fetal curls, crying their eyes out. In fact, I'm counting on it.

ReplyDeletePaul Joseph Watson nails it (again).
Trump's diagnosis has revealed to the world what loathsome cretins his political opponents actually are, and has done so so very publicly. His trip outside Walter Reed to wave to his supporters, in a closed Presidential SUV, wearing a mask, with Secret Service agents all wearing masks, provoked such hysterical, well... hysteria, that his critics were forced to admit that their precious masks DO NOT WORK. Not that they realized what they were saying. I pointed that out to a couple of shrieking harpies on Twitter, and got blocked for my trouble.
