The Royal Guardsmen perform "Snoopy's Christmas" (H/T: friend and commenter JeffS). I think we had this on a 45 record back in the day.

"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
I had the LP. They did another Snoopy song, a Christmas song no less.
ReplyDeleteAnd some other ones, enough to fill an album... not that any I ever heard any of them on the radio.
My dad bought me the album for Christmas the year I was in the 6th grade...I played it a LOT.
ReplyDeleteA 4 song EP was released in Australia 1969-70. It may have been the first piece of vinyl I ever bought - even predating Sweet's Fox On The Run.
ReplyDeleteThe songs did get airplay here, but the Bloody Red Baron didn't quite get past the censors. He was either the Bleeped Red Baron or the Suddenly Diminished Sound Level Red Baron.
