Time hits another home run

"TIME's 2020 Person of the Year: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris".

Never mind that they can't seem to count over at Time (I think even these two count as people or persons, not the singular, "person"). The last time the magazine made such a bold choice was 1939.

  1. Yeah I kept looking at the word 'person' and the Rushmore-style profiles of Biden and Harris and gave up trying to figure it out. And it's bold alright - but like all this 'president elect' stuff, they're trying so hard it looks desperate and forced.

  2. They're puffing up Kamala's credentials for her eventual move into the presidency.

For benefit of the useful idiots, naturally.

  4. I had a subscription to TIME magazine for about 25 years, but dumped it back in the late 80s or early 90s when it veered into unabashed leftism. Before that, it was a fairly fat magazine where you could get details on news stories that didn't appear in network broadcasts, but by the time I dumped it, it had slimmed down to this thin, pathetic little propaganda pamphlet. I'm pretty sure it doesn't make any money for its owners because the advertisers abandoned it in droves, but the sole reason for its existence now is to push leftism. So it's no surprise that the editors picked Joe and the Ho, and I'm also pretty sure that nobody who matters really cares.

  5. The media hasn't figured out that once you pull off the mask, it doesn't matter if you put it back on again.

Or else they don't care. We see you, media. We know who you are. We know what you are.

  6. How long before Biden and/or Harris get a Nobel Peace Prize?

  7. That's gonna be divisive, Paco... the Scoldilocks jihadis are PO'd that Greta Thunberg didn't get it this year, so the committee is really skating on thin ice if they kick her to the curb again next time.

But of all the places I'd pay to watch get Antifa'd to the ground, the Nobel Peace Prize Committee is on the list.

  8. It occurs to me that the explanation for Slow Joe and the Frisco Ho being lumped together as a “Person” is that Time recognizes the fact that neither of them is all together there. So, as per Time, together they add up to a single human being.

I think that’s being way overly generous.

  9. President-elect Jomala Biris, the many-headed hydra. Preferred pronoun 'they'. 'They' will get the Peace Prize for sure.

  10. Maybe we should refer to the two of them collectively as the JoKa.
