"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Beautiful, but the earings - is that a homage to a culture south of the border? Not criticising but struck me as sort of Maya or Inca or you'd know better than me what.
ReplyDeleteThose are gages. I think gages have been used by some tribes from various parts of the world.
DeleteI'm pretty sure that's Maggie's "I've got a secret!" face.
ReplyDeleteOh jeepers... now you've ruined her whole life.
ReplyDeleteYou know what the wokesters do to kids who smirk.
Bruce: Meh, I think he's just bein' weird.
ReplyDeleteSteve: She's trying to get the smirk just right in case she runs into any "native American activists". I'm sure she'll be hearing from the weenies at National Review.
ReplyDeleteShe's hoping to get a deal like Sandmann got.
ReplyDeleteIn a few years time, that look is going to break the heart of many a teenage boy.
ReplyDelete"Go out with you? Why?"
Maggie would make a great Wednesday, if they make another Addams Family movie soon.
ReplyDeleteGregory: I imagine #1 son will be on hand when those boys come by to pick Maggie up for a date; yes, he'll just be sitting on the porch, placidly cleaning his shotgun.
ReplyDeleteDeb: Well, they ain't ever been seen amongst the Paco tribe before, so I'm agin 'em.
Mike: Yeah, she would, wouldn't she?
Gages? Thanks Deborah.
