Go, Tulsi Gabbard!
Update I see that the usual Vichy Republicans voted to move the second impeachment trial forward (Romney, Murkowski, Collins, Toomey and Sasse).
Questions: Just exactly how deep is the commitment of Nebraska's citizenry to the continuation in office of the strutting fraud, Ben Sasse? How difficult would it be to successfully primary him? For that matter, why do the good people of Alaska - theoretically an independent lot - keep sending Murkowski back to Washington?

It's nice to see SOMEONE on that side of the aisle doesn't have their head up their posterior.
Alas, others like are rare, and likely in hiding, to avoid the BLAMTIFA thugs.
Gabbard is not and never will be a conservative, or a small government advocate, or even a "Republican" in the McCain/Romney mold.
But she is adrift, having burned bridges with the establishment DNC. She went toe to toe with the corrupt Hillary wing of the party, and for that she can never be forgiven. Her future as a politician, at least on the national stage, is done. Unless... she can carve out a custom proprietary niche, such as AOC has done. And that could very well be possible - compared to the Commie Donkey Chompers she's a much more palatable lefty. She only has to find some district she can carry with the DNC working against her.
Although, the way they've been shitting the bed lately, they just might disgust enough voters to find the ground cut from under their feet. Or what the hell, try to go active duty and secure an Army retirement. I have no idea what other marketable skills she has in the real world.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend - for now.
Schumer knows he has 55 votes to convict. The Constitution says that conviction requires that 2/3 OF THOSE PRESENT vote to convict. All Schumer has to do is keep 18 No votes from attending for the vote. Have the Senate Sgt at Arms prevent them from entering the chamber on some pretext maybe?
Justice for Ashli Babbitt!
Okay, John Brennan and Adam Schiff are domestic enemies of the United States, but we knew that already.
Good to see a Democrat admit it, though.
