How long before unions finally figure out that the Democratic Party is no longer interested in the American worker?

"Labor Unions That Endorsed Biden Now Lashing Out At Him".

I wonder how many of the rank and file actually voted for His Fraudulence? One always has to make some distinctions between the union leadership and the actual workers who constitute the bulk of the membership.

Meanwhile, the Arizona Republican Party has censured some of the stalwarts of the old McCain machine, including the odious Cindy McCain and the even more reprehensible Jeff Flake. This is, of course, a merely symbolic gesture; these RINOs (blue pill Republicans, friend and commenter Bucky has named them) aren't going to be run out of town on a rail. Still, symbols are important, and this is, at least, a start. Feel free, Arizonans, to use some of the thoughts from the letter of Junius to Jeff Flake in any future denunciations.

Update  As long as I'm doing reruns, here's an old letter from Junius to Joe Biden.

Apparently New Mexico is butthurt over Biden's energy policies.

Wah wah waaaaah.

I eagerly await whining from PA about them, too. I shall laugh. Ha, ha, I shall say unto them.

Liz Cheney was censured by the Wyoming GOP, and is likely to be primaried. Leftie idiocy dominating local politics is, thus far, confined to a single county (Teton County, wherein lies Jackson Hole, a popular retreat for the rich and infamous).

And in other news ... ... Biden is annoying more and more people, organizations, and .... tribes:

Your order is a direct attack on our economy, sovereignty, and our right to self-determination. Indian lands are not federal public lands. Any action on our lands and interests can only be taken after effective tribal consultation.

My, my, my ..... so much for "unity", eh?

To paraphrase what FrnakJ wrote in the early Obama years, I'm not saying our betters are out to destroy America, but their actions make sense if you assume that.

There is a short but pithy jeremiad on Ace of Spade this morning noting that "unity" is a trademark of... (dun dun DUMMM!) fascism. And also, I would add, all other totalitarian ideologies. Nazism, Communism, they all have the identical fetish for unity and conformity and lockstep adherence to the party line.

You see it in the incessant SJW circular firing squads, where a member in formerly good standing slips and says something that has been deemed beyond the pale. Or in their never ending search for new targets (q.v. the NYT's recent determination that Tiki culture is problematic with a troubling and racist past).

But in a democratic, or pluralistic, or multicultural society, one must expect various points of view and even heated arguments. When a single dominant narrative is promulgated, deviation from which results in excommunication, you then have the opposite. Or, as the statists call it, "unity." Many members of the progressive coalition are about to discover what that really means.

Yeah, I was gratified to see Wyoming's Republicans denounce Liz Cheney. And now the Ute tribe is, er, on the warpath against Biden's policies. Excellent. Many erstwhile Biden supporters are going to be wailing and gnashing their teeth and praying for Trump's return inside of six months, mark my word (quite a few, obviously, already are).

Paco, an open question is, how many people are actually Biden supporters? We really do not know how many votes Biden/Harris got. And we know that we don't know because the DNC/Media complex has been frantically lying and gaslighting us since the election, and (with their allies in Big Tech) actively suppressing discussion on the subject. In addition we see the DNC/Media complex framing those not supporting the Biden/Harris claque as treasonous, insurrectionists, domestic terrorists, and demanding our exclusion from public life.

These are not the actions of people comfortable in their position. God help them if a preference cascade occurs despite their attempts to contain it.

Excellent point, Steve. We really don't know how many votes Biden and Harris got. That's why I'm reluctant to mock people in states that supposedly went for Biden, because it's quite possible that some or all of those states, in reality, generated a majority for Trump which was magically erased through Democrat chicanery.

I wondered the same thing with the previous Democrat administration.
It's like the Union-Vote has the same problem as the Black Vote. The organizational talking heads have a historical bias against voting Republican so they must endorse the Democrat; the organizational members at this point are voting against their own interests by voting for Democrats, but must or be ostracized by the group. Fortunately, the privacy of the voting booth showed some independent thinking took place and Trump's numbers improved among Black and Latino voters. Maybe his numbers among union voters improved too.

Here's a story I ran across on the interwebs: the woman who sold Bernie those mittens that are seen in that meme all over the internet had a small handcraft knitting business turning out those mittens. She's now out of business because of high taxes, but she says she still supports Biden because he's promised Medicare For All". There are a lot of not very bright people out there.

Idiots we will have with us always. I accept the reality of that, but what really galls is that they seem to exercise a disproportionate impact on our society, our politics and our ability to hang on to what is rightfully ours.
