Ok, let me see if I've got this straight. Using the logic of the Usurper's nominee for Attorney General, Merrick Garland, if I break into the Capitol Building at night and seek to do damage, up to and including burning the place down, this would not be an act of domestic terrorism because it's after hours? Is that what he's saying? "Biden AG Pick Says Antifa/BLM Attacks on Courthouse May Not be Domestic Terrorism Because They Happened at Night".
Now, I'll be the first to admit that I am not an expert on criminal law, but this strikes me as...I dunno...dumber than a bag of peat moss. Must one not only be a leftist ideologue, but clearly wormy in the thought-box to be deemed worthy to serve in this administration?
Update On the other hand, Kavanaugh and Barrett are looking more like legal turkeys than legal eagles, themselves.
It's a good thing the folks in CHAZ declared themselves not part of America at night too.
ReplyDeleteOr was that a case of 'no intentions'?
With their standard standard, our betters have much more standards than the rest of us!
Maybe the basic rule is the appointee must not be smarter than Joe Biden?
ReplyDeleteWhoof.
Steve: Significantly reduces the pool of acceptable applicants, it would seem.
ReplyDeleteV: So, did CHAZ technically only secede during the day? Still trying to figure out the "rule of law", here.
There is no "rule of law" any more, Paco.
ReplyDeleteYou've been coup'd.
Yeah, that's right. I had forgotten for a moment.
ReplyDeleteBoth were traumatized by their Senate confirmation ordeal at the hands of the Democrats. It also seems that three of the "conservative" Associate Justices are worried that packing the court, as the Democrats plan to do, will reduce their prestige; being one of nine is more impressive than being one of fifteen.
ReplyDeleteWho killed Ashli Babbitt and why?
Then we need judges made of sterner stuff (if they're to be had, and - who knows? - maybe they're not).
