As is 'misogyny' which was originally how they described Oscar Wilde and men who avoided the marriage market generally, until 1960s feminists flipped the meaning to fit their victim fantasies.
The very first 3 Stooges episode was called 'The Woman Haters', meaning they avoided marriage and its 'ball and chain'. That's what 'misogynist' used to mean.
