People in the UK are rightly horrified by the murder of Sarah Everard, who apparently was killed by a policeman.
Naturally, this being the Age of Asininity, feminists, both female and male (and let me interject an aside, here; I believe many if not most men who cop a radical feminist attitude are just using such posturing as a technique for picking up chicks) have reacted with suggestions that have nothing to do with truly empowering women in a way that would give them the right and the means to protect themselves (permitting the use of pepper spray, for example). No, no. The key is to restrain the freedom of men - all men.
Jenny Jones, a member of Britain’s House of Lords, also suggested that all men should adhere to a 6 p.m. curfew.
Sounds a bit unfair to me. I tell you what: since the man charged with Everard's murder is a policeman, why not subject all male police officers to a 6 p.m. curfew? They're mostly just going around bothering people about wearing COVID masks, anyway, aren't they? Or issuing citations for hateful Tweets.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to throw away the fire extinguishers in my kitchen, disable all the smoke detectors in the house, and cut the seat belts out of my cars.
I see that Portland's mayor is trying to restore $2 million for his city's PD, after the police budget was cut by $15 million. I bet that's probably just to fund enough police officers to keep Antifa thugs out of his yard. That city has gone mad. I think most of them have.

ReplyDeleteYoug women are sounding very much like their Victorian great great grandmothers. You could say they don't dress prudish now like the latter did, but if you're not allowed to look, what's the difference? 'Avert your eyes sir! Don't you dare look at my near naked body which I am displaying, unless I give you permission!' All sounds very Victorian to me.
It's starting to appear like these things come in cycles.
