This might be useful if one of your hands is busted

  1. That pistol having (effectively) a one inch barrel makes it a belly gun -- the channel sight is superfluous, as the bullet wouldn't have much spin to be accurate after a few feet. Especially for .25 ACP, which has little stopping power, unless you are aiming directly at a vulnerable part of the body (e.g., the head). Its main threat comes from the reality that no one wants bullet holes in their skin.

But still, a clever design, and useful in close quarters situations.

  2. It would have been interesting to see that design in a .380 or 9mm.

  3. Hmmmm .... ..... methinks that .380 would be the optimum choice for that design, but it would be interesting to see how 9mm faired.

  4. I would expect a somewhat larger configuration for a 9mm (especially a longer barrel). For the actual size, .380 is about the best you could hope for. Hell, I'd take it in a .32 ACP.

  5. True dat about the 9mm.

And .32 ACP would be an improvement over .25 ACP -- anything would, IMHO. I've seen .25 ACP ammunition, and it's most effective at either point blank range, or stuffed down your assailant's gullet until they choke to death. Throwing a box of .25 ACP at the bad guy would result in only gales of laughter.
