I can relate to clam man.
ReplyDeleteWe boomers get blamed for everything, but 'Father Yod' of the many hippie wives was older than my parents and (probably) served in WW2, so 'Greatest Generation'.
ReplyDeleteI can identify with that first one. It's getting to the point it's easier just to type in '1953', instead of scrolling down, even with a drag bar. Seeing all those years go by before you reach your year is like having your life flash before your eyes. :-(
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at the "Jaws" one: northeast England, where the beaches are black with coal dust and the people are white with grievances. At least, I think that's what he said. Sometimes you need subtitles for some British accents, particularly the farther north they go.
ReplyDeleteRebecca: That one tickles me, too.
ReplyDeleteShark: Come in the water!
Man on beach: Nuuuuuuu!
I have to admit, I sometimes find subtitles useful on British tv shows.
