  2. We boomers get blamed for everything, but 'Father Yod' of the many hippie wives was older than my parents and (probably) served in WW2, so 'Greatest Generation'.

  3. I can identify with that first one. It's getting to the point it's easier just to type in '1953', instead of scrolling down, even with a drag bar. Seeing all those years go by before you reach your year is like having your life flash before your eyes. :-(

  4. I had to laugh at the "Jaws" one: northeast England, where the beaches are black with coal dust and the people are white with grievances. At least, I think that's what he said. Sometimes you need subtitles for some British accents, particularly the farther north they go.

    I have to admit, I sometimes find subtitles useful on British tv shows.
