Let's Go Brandon (side B)

Here's a rock version of "Let's Go Brandon", with different lyrics (for those who might have found the Hip Hop version not especially to your taste).

I don't like rap at all, but I preferred the rap version this once.

Well, maybe Squirrel Nut Zippers will come out with a swing version. Or maybe the Soggy Bottom Boys will give it a bluegrass spin.

Off topic, but this gave me a laugh:
https://www.skynews.com.au/australia-news/politics/fmr-extinction-rebellion-activist-no-climate-change-if-world-embraced-nuclear-energy-decades-ago/news-story/408c403c7b3998d785f3a662f50eff7b

'A former UK Extinction Rebellion activist has rejected the idea that renewables are the only way towards emissions reduction and has hit out at “boomer” environmentalists for demonising nuclear energy.'

Claims that boomers are responsible for everything bad are usually factually wrong. But there may be some truth to this one claim.

Part of the problem is failure to grasp that the post-WW2 baby boom was global (it was a *world* war!). Putin is a baby boomer, as is Xi Yinping. China had a huge baby boom after the war (slowing during the GLF...). Japan's baby boomers went through all the stages others did - hippies, rock music, cults - yet Japan has none of the problems critics of 'boomers' blame them for, save one: Japanese babyboomer's kids are as isolated and weird as kids in the west, in fact the problem is named Hikikomori because it's worse there. This suggests the problems are side-effects of rising living standards.
