"The British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted Wednesday of luring teenage girls to be sexually abused by the American millionaire Jeffrey Epstein."
I wonder if she was offered any kind of deal? I'm thinking not: too many prominent skeletons hunkering down out there working for a coverup.
I hope she lives a long time, long enough to repent of her part in these crimes - horrible crimes in which she played a big, but far from an exclusive, role. Maybe she'll even live long enough to write a tell-all book - but I, for one, am not betting on that.
Forgive a naive question but what "deal" would be offered?
ReplyDeleteI'm just a damn ex-truck driver.
She doesn't spill the beans on who...Clinton? Who cares about him anymore?
Maybe John Roberts. That would be something but survivable. He would resign and they would move on.
Prince Andrew? WhoGAF?
The girls were 15, 16, not 6. That would be different.
I'm just thinking like Them, disgustingly easy for me to do.
I hope my question makes sense.
ReplyDeleteI expect a long sentence in a minimum security prison, from which she is paroled, and then conveniently disappears sans trace. Kinda like Jimmy Hoffa. No clumsy suicide.
ReplyDeleteShe probably has an employment deal coming up with CNN! LOL
ReplyDeleteGeorge: I didn't have anything specific in mind. But if there was a phalanx of Republican politicians out there who were involved with her (but, admittedly, it would pretty much have to be only Republicans), this DOJ probably would have offered her time served in return for naming names.
