I have an M1 Carbine, made by National Postal Meter, from the CMP. It's one of the Italian returns, so it was literally carried by the Carabinieri. Fun little gun.
That sounds like a good 'un! I think it's cool how, during WWII, all kinds of companies were manufacturing the M1 Carbine - including Singer, Rock-Ola (the jukebox company), Inland (General Motors) etc.
