Pauline Viardot-Garcia's Serenade, performed by Barbara Moser.
I was unfamiliar with Viardot-Garcia (just goes to show the vastness of my ignorance), but she was quite influential in the 19th century music world. Here is some biographical information.
Not just you, she was forgotten until about 20 years ago, maybe because the Garcia family had so many talented musicians (mostly singers). Also on listening, her piano music has an annoying habit of resolving to consonance every couple of bars, like she can't trust her skills to explore longer melodies. But I sampled her operas and they are really interesting, and it seems that's why her music was revived. She had a relationship with Turgenev who wrote the libretti.
