"There Was No Insurrection But There Was A Coup".
RIP, Ashli Babbitt.
Update Not just stupid, but obscenely so: "Pelosi Has ‘Hamilton’ Cast Members Sing as Part of January 6 Remembrance".
It would have been a lot more relevant, in view of the gulag being run by AG Merrick "Lavrenti" Garland, to have someone read passages from Arthur Koestler's Darkness at Noon.
Update II I see that draft deferment specialist Dick Cheney showed up at this dreary celebration of Democrat partisanship, with his political whore of a daughter, to lament the fact that the Republican Party has failed to restore the Constitution. Btw, an ABC news article, which I decline to link, hilariously referred to him as "one of [the GOP's] most prominent elder statesmen". He certainly never got a tongue bath like that when he held elective office, nor for many years afterwards, when he and W. were just considered crooks and war criminals.
So if Cheney is now a revered statesman, what will Trump be after four years of Desantis?
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about "Hamilton" but in view of the Reichstag bullshit they are trying to manufacture was the song "Tomorrow Belongs To Me"?
ReplyDeleteGodwin gets me again.
ReplyDelete"Tomorrow Belongs To Me" would have been appropriate for the Jan6 circus, but actually it's song from Cabaret celebrating Hitler Youth. So I take your point, George. You made an interesting point, too, about Trump's status after DeSantis presidency (which I would dearly love to see).
ReplyDeleteWhen they made the cast of "Hamilton" all black and decided to interrupt the play in order to lecture VP Pence from the stage, that made me determined that I will never see it. Sheer wokeism for the hell of it.
