I grew up right next to the 49th Parallel (a/k/a the US-Canadian border), and while I admire Canadians as a people (remember, they had an entire beach to them during the Normandy invasion), I've never had much trust in the Canadian government.

If you want short updates on what's happening downunder, there is a young woman who looks like a new conservative star: prolific, sharp and a good writer, named Alexandra Marshall ('ellymelly'). She's on all formats but I like her Nitter page which is constantly updated:

Young folks such as her give me hope. She linked to a recent Twitter post by Trudeau which is especially evil.
