If you think your mail delivery is screwed up now...

...just wait: "EPA objects to US Postal Service plan to buy a new gas-powered delivery fleet".

  1. I've long preferred the USPS to UPS but in the last two weeks 2 packages came to Phoenix then left for Las Vegas.
The first one made it back to Phoenix, then Tempe. The latest one is still in Vegas.
    I hope it's having fun.

    1. Two weeks ago, Amazon dropped off a package for an address on County Road 441. We live on County Rd 251. A different driver insisted this was CR 441 because the map says so. Google Maps shows the road as 251, but also identifies the next door address as on 441. BTW, it's the pioneer graveyard.

I've been unable to find a contact number for Amazon. We're ill, and the weather isn't advisable for crossing creeks and driving on dirt roads. Frustrating.

  2. I'm sure my packages always go to more interesting places than I do.

  3. I think delivery, in general, is getting more unreliable, whether it's Amazon or UPS or FedX (or, of course, the USPS, which has been pretty bad in my current location, although not so bad in most other places I've lived).

  4. You're lucky if your package even makes it off the train without being looted. We've gone back to brick and mortar when we need something, but then we now live within a stone's throw from a giant shopping mall.
