I always wanted to drive through Why, Arizona, but never got around to it. At least, I don't think I did. I suppose it would be easy to not notice.

James Lileks writes about Dinkytown, MN all the time in The Bleat. Apparently he got his start there as a waiter while in college (it's a Minneapolis neighborhood, I guess).
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't mentioned in the video, but there is a little town in Texas called Mule Shoe. I think I have some second or third cousins there.
