Ironies abound

"Coal miners help push tourists’ dead electric car in West Virginia".

Because the vehicle was plastic underneath, there was no way to tow it, so a group of miners decided to push it. “So here are 5 coal miners pushing a battery car to the coal mine to charge up.” You could even see mounds of coal in the background while the vehicle was charging.

No doubt, somebody in the Biden administration will posit the pushing of dead EVs as a great job alternative for unemployed miners - you know, while they're learning to code. It would make a better job for the (someday-to-be-unemployed, I hope) pseudo-intellectuals of  National Review and The Bulwark and The Dispatch. Those tubby specimens could use the exercise.

  1. I was thinking about the last trip I made on the NJ Turnpike, at each rest stop lines of cars waiting to fill their tank and continue on their way... electric cars just take too long to fill their tanks; interstate travel is going to grind to a halt, it will take all your vacation days just to travel what is now a quick weekend getaway.
