I didn't watch the SOTU speech...

...but by all honest accounts, it was a tissue of lies, self-delusion and hubris. Here are a few observations on Biden's profound dishonesty from Daniel Greenfield.

If we, as a nation, cannot muster the energy to tear down the rotten structure that is 21st-century American politics, and destroy the system that has given us, among many other disasters, this mendacious, corrupt and incompetent clown as president, then we are finished. Govern yourselves accordingly.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene had an excellent one-word synopsis of Biden's entire career, up to and including this ghastly speech.

I didn’t watch it either … … the doctor said to lay off booze, and drunk is the only way I can listen to that lying sack of s**t for more than 30 seconds.

Why wasn't that one-word synopsis screamed repeatedly by every Republican in the room, not just MTG? An opportunity missed.

I never watch the SOTU (I'd rather watch paint dry), but I did see a couple of clips this morning. The best was when Old Dirty accused the Republicans of wanting to do away with Social Security and Medicare, and the Republicans erupted in boos and shouts of "liar". I don't think Old Dirty expected that, and he kind of backed off it. Of course the Dems are wailing about the "lack of decorum", as if Nasty Pelosi didn't stand up there like a petulant child and rip up Donald Trump's SOTU in front of him and the whole world.

Jeff: I don't even know if I could watch him drunk. Imagine watching him after taking, say, LSD - talk about a bad trip!
