Nice

I haven't seen one of these in quite awhile: a Dodge Viper, spotted in the parking lot of a local supermarket.

  1. So, it's just your average grocery-getter, I guess.

  2. Purty.
The only post 1972 Mopar I'd want to own.

  3. R-man: Yeah, probably just driven by a little old lady once a week to the supermarket parking lot to buy pot.

V: The only post 1972 Mopar I'd want to own.

    Amen, brother.

  4. Well, it's pretty, and I can see its appeal.

But if I have to own transportation named after a poisonous reptile, I prefer this model.

  5. There were a couple of these scooting around Perth too, though I can't remember the last time I saw one.
Maybe they're sitting in garages, waiting to be discovered in thirty years.

  6. Jeff: Ok, is there an EV version of that?

  7. they're offering the "last call" editions of the Challenger and Charger for 2023, and say that they will have an electric muscle car for 2024, we'll they come out with.

Probably not, Paco. Commander Adama isn't stupid that way.

Possibly related, Ford is stalling the EV version of the F150. I can't imagine why.

  9. Daisy Duke's '74 Plymouth Road Runner was worth having. As was Daisy Duke.

  10. That '74 probably had at least 150 less horsepower than a 71. They started slapping crap on it that robbed hp in 72.
They got rid of the slant 6 and then went to Mitsubishi 4-cyls sometimes with a turbo slapped on it. And added buttons, lots of buttons. Buttons that didn't seem to do much but stop working.
Sorry, I love pre 72 Mopars, they can be darn near race cars, post are not.

  11. Looks like one from a Mecum Auto Auuction. Sweet ride, but can't haul a lot of groceries ... or much of anything else.
