Bunny Berrigan was a fine trumpet man who played with, among other bands, those of Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey, as well as leading his own outfit in the early 1940s. Sadly, like so many other jazz musicians, Berrigan succumbed to alcoholism, dying in 1942 at the age of 33.
