But what that says about half of the population is the thing that really frightens me. Less than half whole-heartedly supports the leftist nonsense (even though the percentage is still uncomfortably large); it's the malleability of the swing voters that is an increasing concern. Their sources of information are corrupted, they're easily moved by trivial externals, and they have no grasp of historical context. I simply decline to be ruled by a combination of ideologues, lunatics and morons. If this is the best democracy can do, then democracy can, with my compliments, go throw itself off a cliff.
There. That ought to keep the FBI busy for awhile.
Update Oh, and don't get me started on the subject of the Vichy Republicans: "After FBI Raids Republicans’ Last President, Mitch McConnell Wants To Increase DOJ Funding". I thought this old fool was supposed to be stepping down? Not that that will make much of a difference, but I am sick of seeing his dead eyes staring out of his pudding face.

In the book Papillon, he writes about how faking a disease to get into a hospital, to make it easier to escape, can be dangerous as you can catch what they have.
