This day should be noted as the anniversary of one of the most catastrophic events in history
A communist revolutionary, philosopher, and economist, Marx's teachings continue to guide struggles for liberation around the world.
They never add the part about Marx being an inveterate slug and leech who never had a job in his life and didn't take care of himself or his family, but spent his time feverishly writing his delusional screeds about the communist utopia. But perhaps we should be vilifying Friedrich Engels instead who supported him. Without Engels, and some other German misanthropes, Marx might well have been just another one of those scraggly-bearded weirdos who went around the streets screeching about the end of the world.
On the other hand, today's antifa types seem to fit the mold perfectly.
Great minds, and all. I was wondering the same thing as I was taking a walk awhile ago. How far would Marx have gotten if Engels, or some other idiotic sugar daddy, hadn't carried his lazy ass financially for most of his adult life?
