Well, this is disappointing. All of this got me thinking, so last night I fixed myself a nice dinner, put on some soft music, lit some candles, and got up the nerve to ask myself to marry me!
ReplyDeleteI turned me down. "You're not that self-centered, it'll never work" I said. :-(
Forgive my dark turn of mind (a consequence of mourning, I expect) but I have to ask: if one marries oneself and later on becomes incapacitated, who's going to be there to sign the paperwork to turn off the ventilator?
ReplyDeleteAnswer: the doctor because you signed a DNR. Make sure you have a life saving device that alerts EMS if you become incapacitated, because you may be on the outs with yourself, and ....
