I didn't watch the debates or Tucker Carlson's interview with Donald Trump, but I enjoyed this snippet in which Carlson very aptly describes Chris Wallace.
Trump: "When I debated Biden, this was in front of probably not a friend of yours, Chris Wallace was the moderator."

Wallace is yet another member of what David Brooks unironically calls the educated elite.
ReplyDeleteElite, in the sense of never having accomplished anything in life save talk. Educated in the sense that they display credentials from apparently prestigious institutions without having also displayed any signs of actual intellect, let alone education.
Pathetic. Look at ruling classes throughout history, and for better or worse they generally did things. Wrote books and music, led armies, explored the world, founded industries and nations. These people? Nothing but chatter about how special they are.
