Dirty Old Joe (DOJ, most apropos) has had seven grandchildren for the last four years, he just refused to acknowledge the last one until the public relations onslaught got too bad. Bad PR, once established, is almost impossible to erase, even if you're an @$$-kissing media type who doesn't realize the internet is forever.
Obama remains, in my opinion, the strangest president we've ever had (see my latest post), but Joe Biden is the most thoroughly revolting. Just a mean-spirited, nasty, mendacious, stupid grifter - and that was all before his thought-box became infested with termites.
