How many gallons per mile does it get?
ReplyDeleteI think that thing would need to have a built-in refinery - or maybe a small nuclear plant.
ReplyDeleteA nuclear plant would be COOL. I'm thinking a pebble bed reactor.
ReplyDeleteI expect the wheels are electrically driven, the gear train for a beast that size would put a diesel locomotive to shame.
Probably not a good EV candidate, though, is it?
ReplyDeleteOr is it? You mention electrically-driven wheels.
ReplyDeleteIt's a prime EV candidate, Paco. Except that the generator would have to be massive. Batteries would not cut it. Diesel is the default choice. Unless you're a greenie, of course.
ReplyDeleteWhich is why the PBR would never be seriously considered. Pity.
This would be great for literally plowing through traffic. Wouldn't even need traffic torpedoes.
ReplyDeleteParking wouldn't be a problem unless 'I didn't see him down there' was thrown out in court.
ReplyDeleteHaw!
