I'm suspicious. That hole doesn't look like a crater. It looks like the holes my grandkids used to dig on the beach in Florida (much to the chagrin and finger-wagging of the beach patrol).
A hole... in a beach... we're gonna need the combined investigative skills of Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, and Sam Spade to get to the bottom of this!
Speaking of the bottom... why is there a plastic toy shovel there?
