I'm a little late with this, but famous Chicago Bear, Dick Butkus, died October 5th.
Butkus enjoyed a second career on screen, appearing in movies and television programs, and those of us (of a certain age) will always remember him pairing with Bubba Smith in those Miller Lite commercials.
I was always a Butkus fan, even though I was a Cardinals fan, and hated the Bears. He was a pretty good actor, for a football player.
