The New York Times has learned precisely nothing since the days of Walter Duranty
They "cut ties" with him because he embarrassed them by riding around on a motorcycle with a grenade in his hand. If they could have kept it quiet, he'd still be working for them, and most likely, he will be again once the heat's off (unless the Israelis get him first, that is).
We all admire his passion in fighting got his beliefs!
As always, the problem isn't the man's vile behavior. The problem was it being inconvenient to his employer. The staff at NYT define the term "useful idiots."

I believe I read somewhere that the IDF is not planning on distinguishing between terrorists and their so-called "reporters". I hope this is true.
