The country said never again back then, and then we got 9/11. The enemies change, but their intentions don't, and we don't seem anymore to be capable of convincing them what a bad idea it is.
ReplyDeleteOur enemies can't be convinced because we keep rewarding their evil. Just ask the Taliban.
DeleteSadly, there was no mention of this tragic day, or maybe I missed it. I hope it is the latter rather than the former, for if it isn't then the phrase "Never Forget" would be hollow.
ReplyDeleteIf that attack happened today, the Biden Administration would lecture Americans about Islamophobia.
