JP is partial to the Macallan '26 - but, given its rarity and expense, only sips moderately on special occasions.
I, myself, am pretty abstemious, but, as I've mentioned before, I do thoroughly enjoy an occasional shot from the Mason jar of apple-pie whiskey given to me some time ago by a colleague, whose family, located in the hill country of North Carolina, still turn out the odd batch of "Gosh-We-Forgot-To-Pay-The-Federal-Tax-On-This" moonshine.
Is this J. Packington's drink of choice? That certainly seems like a younger version of him.
