Ok, what have you people done with the real Senator John Fetterman?
As the Bee noted, he seems to get more grounded as he recovers from his stroke.
If you aren't an amoral venal opportunist with sociopathic tendencies, the best way to be a progressive is to have brain damage. Evil, or stupid, those are the two pathways to progressivism. Of course, you can be evil AND stupid, that works.
His background is interesting. His parents were both 19 yrs old, but they became rich Republicans in finance and he says he grew up in luxury, if I read it right.
