The hapless George Santos is gone, and his potential successor, Mazi Melesa Pilip, is, if nothing else, far from your garden variety politician: "Meet the Totally Badass Republican Mom of Seven Running for that Santos Seat".
Lefties are practically wetting themselves because Pilip is an Orthodox Jewish Woman of Color Onetime Synagogue Vice President Former Machine-Gun Toting Paratrooper Mom of Seven.
Wait for the thoughtful articles earnestly disabusing us of the false notion that this person is "really" an "authentic" woman. Or black.

That's true Stephen, for the guardians of official dogma in their ivory towers, but the visuals will give the hoi polloi more reason to doubt the official narrative.
